Portland Bicyclist Has Life Threatening Injuries After Being Hit

Yet another cyclist is suffering from life threatening injuries after being the victim of a hit and run in Portland. The crash occurred on Tuesday, December 20 at approximately 10:30pm, with the injured cyclist left sprawling across the pavement at North Killingsworth and North Minnesota Avenue. Portland Traffic Accidents are at a three year high, with the Portland Police Bureau at a loss for how to prevent such accidents. Technology, infrastructure, education and awareness are not solving the problem of traffic awareness, and traffic fatalities are at “epidemic levels” according to the police spokesperson.
