Jonah Flynn represented two contract welders burned in a boiler explosion at a paper mill. The plaintiffs were working on boiler during what was supposed to be an annual shutdown for maintenance and repairs. Without any warning from the plant owner/operator, a recovery boiler was brought back online without adequate steam, and while the primary boiler was off-line, leading to a massive explosion. When the blast occurred, workers were running for their lives. Jonah Flynn used his resources and knowledge of plant operations develop the case against the mill owner. The plaintiffs fully recovered from their injuries.
