Portland Car Accident: Three year old run over, killed by PG&E Truck

A 4-year-old boy was struck and killed in a parking lot of at the Hunter’s Run Apartments on Schendel Avenue in Beaverton.  apartment complex. A Portland General Electric truck hit the boy in the back of the parking lot, according to officials.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue reported the boy was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries but he later died.

Accidents like this are the result of careless commercial driving, and can be avoided with proper training and due care by drivers operating massive PG&E Vehicles in areas where its foreseeable children may be present. PG&E accidents can also be prevented by basic driver training. Car wrecks and pedestrian accidents can always be avoided with the exercise of care.
