Yaz and Yasmin

Yaz and Yasmin are top-selling oral contraceptives that have been in the news lately due to health risks involved in usage. Multiple lawsuits have been filed.

All of the cases involve allegations that the popular birth control pills containing the new progestin drospirenone increase the risk of serious and potentially life-threatening health problems.

These can include, but are not limited to heart attacks, strokes, pulmonary embolisms, deep vein thrombosis, gallbladder disease, blood clots, kidney failure, deep vein thrombosis and even sudden death from Yaz or Yasmin.
